Hmm, since I feel that was an exceptionally poor choice of words, I'll clarify what I meant:
"Not requiring a particular diet" is one thing that one really should do to avoid cultishness and insularity, but of course this "measure" alone doesn't guarantee much at all. It's necessary, but very very far from sufficient.
